There's lots to see & enjoy is the Waring area - something for everyone.  Our country roads welcome bicyclists, horses and relaxing walking tours.  The Guadalupe River is a favorite spot for kayaking, canoeing & tubing.  Nearby dining & shopping can be found within a few miles.  Join us on the deck in downtown Waring.

 Welfare Cafe - absolutely wonderful food & live music on the weekends.  Open Wednesdays - Sunday.  Live music Sunday evenings.

K Bar M Equestrian Center - located in Waring, this is a wonderful place for horse lovers & equestrians to relax.  A calendar of events is on their website.

 Waring General Store - a landmark in downtown Waring.  Ed & Carol, proprietors, have snacks, sodas, beer & wine and also some nice collectibles available.  (If Ed has made his "most wonderful" fudge, be sure to buy some!)  Now serving homemade hamburgers & sandwiches.  Open daily.

Steak Nite - held every Wednesday at the Waring General Store.  Live music, steaks, appetizers and desserts.  Come early...there's usually a big crowd.
