Sistercreek Vineyards
Located in Sisterdale, Texas Sistercreek wines are made in the european style. Established in 1988, this winery has been producing quality wines that have consistently won awards in major U.S. competitions as well as in Texas.
Chardonnay - aged in french oak barrels, this chardonnay is like no other
Pinot Noir - a spicy, dry red wine which pairs up wonderfully with poultry, pork, beef & fish.
Merlot - a full bodied dry red wine just perfect for that steak
Cabernet Blend - a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and sangiovese. Unbelievably smooth with a complexity of flavors this dry, full bodied red wine 2008 Gold Medal winner.
Muscat Canneli - a sweet white dessert wine which has won awards year after year. The carbonation added makes this wine crisp and is delicious with appetizers as well as desserts.
Singing Water Vineyard
Located in Comfort, Texas (it's hard to find but worth the trip). Singing Water wines are relatively new to the scene, producing their own wines since 2003. These wines are well worth a try.
- Sauvignon Blanc - a lovely dry white wine with no acidic taste. Great on its own or pair with cheeses, fruits or fish
- Pinot Grigio - outstanding dry white wine. Enjoy this wine on our hot Texas days or serve with your favorite fish or pasta dishes.
- Merlot - full bodied and smooth red wine. Dry red wine lovers will enjoy this one
- Cabernot Sauvignon/Merlot Blend - another full bodied dry red wine with a fruity finish
- Sweet Lupe - a semi-sweet Merlot sure to make a name for itself. Try it with spicy appetizers or as a dessert wine
